Celebrating Medicare Fraud Prevention Week! Medicare Fraud Prevention Week focuses on the actions everyone can take to prevent Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse. MFPW runs the week of June 5, or 6/5, because most people become eligible for Medicare when they turn 65.

MFPW is hosted by the Administration for Community Living and the Senior Medicare Patrol, known as the SMP. The SMP is a national program to educate Medicare beneficiaries about Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse.

Join Aspen Trails Senior Community (200 Troyers Trail – St. Peters) June 2nd from 11am-1pm to recognize examples of Medicare fraud, errors and abuse. Learn tips to protect yourself and your Medicare benefits!

Schedule of Events:

11am: Officer John Aebischer, St. Peters Police Department Community Engagement Officer will speak about fraud and scams in our area.
A special statewide presentation from the HHS Office of Inspector General: “Strengthening Medicare Integrity: Protect, Detect, Report.”
Archwell Health will be on site to answer questions
